Week 22 Jan 25 - 29

Hello parents,

Well, it's been an eventful week...

National Lutheran Schools week was a success. We had Juggling Jeff (he was great!), a hot chocolate sale which raised over $300, teachers vs. 8th grade volleyball game, ice cream treats, and craft time with younger students.

I have some pictures to share with you showing you the fun we had this week. We thank you for sending your kids to Zion Lutheran School. It means a lot to me, and the entire staff, that you trust us with your children. Jesus is working every day here- even when it isn't always easy!

Blessings on your weekend,
Mrs. Murray

The first few pictures are from Mrs. Cluck's literature skits from the Phantom Tollbooth.

    Ski Reminder
Our field trip to Hidden Valley will be on Friday, Feb. 5.  Thanks to all the parents who will be attending with us to help drive and chaperone.  Reminder to arrive between 7:30 and 7:45 that day and it is an extended school day.  Return will be by 4:30 p.m.

Permission slips will come home Friday with detailed information (except for the one student who stuffed it into an empty desk before they headed to lunch.)   We will know more about dress when we know what the temperature will be that day.  Hidden Valley provides ski boots and skis, but if your child has snowpants/ski bibs or the opportunity to borrow some, that is helpful.  When we fall, it keeps us drier!  The students go through a series of stations and progress at their own pace to learn the basics with wonderful instructors.  Don't hesitate to email me with questions!  This will be Mrs. Murray's first time on the trip, so 6M can send questions my way as well.
